In this game, the player controls a young elf named Link, who awakens on the shores of a desert island after a long and difficult journey. Upon his arrival, he finds a mysterious castle and meets several folk who tell him of a nearby village called Skyward, which is home to the descendants of a legendary hero named Hylos.
